The esteemed Ansel Adams Gallery accepted three of my landscape photographs for display in their International Photography Competition. This does not mean they were accepted (yet) for display at the Gallery. Formal Judging begins in a month.

You can join in the party —

Yosemite Falls Thunder

Big Sur Serenity

and

There are several other great photographs entered in the competition.

Thank you,

  1. Once again, Mr. Dilworth demonstrates one of his core beliefs: that in a democracy everyone has a voice and a right to be heard. In this circumstance, I have no idea why, since his works will be judged by professionals, but it is SOOOOO David that I will shout from the peanut gallery why I rated the 3 photographs (all of which any of us non-photographers would love to have taken) the way I did.
Yosemite Falls Thunder: 3/5 due to the distracting rock formation at the bottom right
Big Sur Turbulence: 4/5 only because it is a little too dark
Big Sur Serenity: 5/5 and not because it includes my favorite complimentary colors

CONGRATULATIONS, David, for a wonderful accomplishment.
THANK YOU for the unusual, unexpected and probably undeserved, unimpressive critiquing opportunity.
THANK YOU for capturing and sharing glorious glimpses of our local environments.
    Honored once again…Barb
